My Grandma was a crocheter, her baby blankets became a family legends. I had always wanted to learn how to crochet. Finally over a year ago I took a adult/community learning class and got started on baby blankets, scarves, hats, and mittens. Below is my first and so far only afghan.
The picture at the top is from the pattern on the website and the picture at the bottom is the one I made. I forgot to check the gauge, ie. measure the size of a finished square, and had to add a forth row of squares. The lighting could be better, my blanket look rather dark.
